  1. Based on the interview, what new insights or perspectives did you gain about the integration and impact of technology (and AI) in your chosen profession or in the graduate/professional program?

- These interviews highlighted how technology, particularly AI, is increasingly central to day-to-day operations in the legal field. I learned that AI tools can drastically improve research efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and even assist in case strategy. It also became clear that while these tools are valuable, human judgment remains critical, especially in interpreting legal precedent and ethical considerations. This insight emphasized the importance of balancing technological proficiency with traditional professional skills.

  1. Were there any surprises or notable trends that stood out to you?

- One surprising trend was how widely AI is adopted even in smaller law practices, not just large firms. I also noted a growing focus on technology literacy as a barrier to entry for new professionals, indicating that familiarity with AI may soon become essential. Additionally, I was struck by how professionals plan proactively for technology’s evolution rather than reacting to it, which shows foresight and adaptability in the field.

 

Webpage Design and Implementation Reflection

  1. How did your vision for the website change from inception to completion?

- Initially, I envisioned a functional website that presented information clearly, but as I developed it, I realized I wanted it to reflect my personality and interests. I added images of myself and soft pastel colors to make the design feel more personal and approachable. I also prioritized including legal photographs to emphasize my interest in the legal field, which helps viewers immediately connect my design with my professional goals. The final website became a balance between personal expression and professional focus.

  1. What challenges did you face during the implementation phase and how did you overcome them?

- One challenge was integrating personal images and visual elements without disrupting the layout or load times. I solved this by optimizing images for web use and carefully adjusting layouts to maintain responsiveness. Another challenge was ensuring that the legal photographs complemented rather than overwhelmed the design, which I managed by strategically placing them to highlight key sections. These solutions allowed me to keep my personal touch while maintaining a professional and visually appealing site.

  1. Were there any tools or techniques you found particularly useful?

- I used Turboscore to generate transcripts from my interview videos, which helped me pull quotes and data efficiently. Video Copilot was valuable for designing custom images and visual elements to make the site more engaging. Finally, I used Webador to build the website, simplifying the coding and layout process while allowing me to customize colors, images, and navigation. These tools helped me combine functionality, aesthetics, and personal expression.

  1. After compiling the data and presenting it in a chart/table format, what patterns or trends did you observe?- Presenting the data visually revealed clear trends in technology adoption, such as the increasing prevalence of AI tools in legal research and case management. I also noticed differences in technology use across different firm sizes and generational groups. These patterns helped me identify potential areas for professional growth and training.

  1. How does visualizing the data in this way enhance your understanding of the role of technology and AI in your chosen profession or academic program?

Visualizing the data allowed me to quickly identify relationships and trends that were less obvious in raw text or numerical data. It clarified which technologies are most influential and how adoption varies across practice settings. This approach reinforced the significance of current tools and anticipated advancements in shaping professional workflows.

  1. Were there any data points that were particularly challenging to obtain or interpret? Why?

Finding precise information on smaller firms’ adoption rates of AI and automation tools. Data was often anecdotal or inconsistently reported, making interpretation difficult. I had to cross-reference multiple sources and rely on qualitative  interviews insights to fill these gaps.

Final Reflection

      This project allowed me to combine research, interviews, web design, and data analysis into a cohesive learning experience. Using tools like Turboscore, Video Copilot, and Webador, I efficiently gathered content, created custom visuals, and built a website that reflects both my personality and professional interests. Adding personal images, soft pastel colors, and legal photographs helped me convey my identity and passion for the legal field to viewers, making the project feel uniquely mine. Overall, I strengthened my technical skills, professional understanding, and ability to communicate complex ideas creatively, which was the most valuable takeaway from this experience.
